Support the Wall St. Protesters!

Miss work for a day, take the morning, lunch or evening and spend sometime on Wall St. to help spread the word that the citizens of the U.S. want the government to govern on their behalf and not solely for the corporations that currently run this countries politicians with cash donations. Money certainly talks and but the angry, out of work, middle-class, homeless and hard working blue collar people in this country can scream!

Me - this morning

Slammed yesterday at the skatepark with my 10 yr old. Landed on my shoulder and can’t lift my arm off my side now. I’m 47, but feelin 67 today.

Which you’ll still be doing at U2’s concert extravaganza, except the screens will be mounted on a War of the Worlds-style TV stand, the transportation of which has been estimated to add at least 65,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. The band are reportedly buying carbon offsets, though. (Oh, and Bono requests that fans car pool on the way to the gig to “cut down on carbon emissions”.)

Read an interview this morning of Meghan McCain. She loves punk rock and republicans. I’m done with politics because being a liar is required for politicians, but I like that she sees that the old guard has to go for the next wave of young people to change things. If more people like her, with “more” of an open mind start to get involved, a punk rocker just may be president one day. Then I can die peacefully.
